The project began with Trio Safe AI deployed across approximately one-third of RHI Magnesita’s forklift fleet. Trio Mobil configured and calibrated its three-camera system specifically for the facility’s operating environment, providing AI-powered visibility around material handling equipment and supporting earlier detection of pedestrians in areas where people and vehicles operate in close proximity.

Following the initial implementation and its performance in day-to-day operations, RHI Magnesita expanded the Trio Mobil solution across its forklift fleet.

The broader deployment introduced complementary safety measures rather than relying on a single detection mechanism. Zone-based speed reduction provides additional control in blind-spot corridors, while operator access control supports safer equipment use. Audio-visual alerts across forklifts and excavators add another layer of awareness within the operating environment.
