Annual Award Honors Influential Business Leaders Who Have Made a Lasting Impact on the New Orleans Community

NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Universal Parking founder and Chairman, Herb Anderson will receive the 2026 New Orleans CityBusiness ICON Award. The award honors outstanding business leaders who have had a lasting influence on the city’s economic development and made their mark on the city.

Anderson is a veteran parking industry executive as well as an established business leader whose 41-year career has been defined by strategic leadership, operational excellence, and the consistent ability to scale operations. As a New Orleans native with deep ties to the community, Anderson has remained committed to supporting the city through job creation, business investment, and philanthropic involvement.
